What are the benefits of seeing a diabetes dietitian? Dietitians are the only degree-trained, registered and regulated Healthcare Professionals to translate the science of nutrition of health and disease into understandable and practical information about. Diabetes dietitians often have received more training and completed further education including at masters level. This helps them have a better understanding of diabetes and the treatment. They have an in-depth understanding of how food affects diabetes.

Would my information be kept confidentially? We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Do I need a GP referral? No, you can see a dietitian without seeing a GP.

What if I need to cancel? We require at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. You can call us any time. For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or non-attendance will be 100% not refunded.

Can you see children? No, please see a peadiatric dietitian.

Do you have HCPC and British Dietetic Association (BDA) registration? The dietitian you will see is registered with both the HCPC and the BDA.
